Ca Del Bosco Wine Dinner at Melograno



Melograno will be hosting a Wine Maker's Dinner with Maurizio Zanella of Ca' del Bosco on Thursday, October 30th, 2008. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet face-to-face with a world renowned winemaker. Chef Alberto Lazzarino has put together a menu that will elate the magnificence and sophistication of the wines from this “state of the art” winery.

Thursday Wine Collector's Night at Melograno


On Thursday evenings Melograno will feature “Wine Collector’s Night,” an event dedicated to everyone who has been saving "that special bottle" for the right moment.


Each week focuses on a specific grape varietal or wine region and Chef Alberto will create specials which pair perfectly with the “Theme.” So, run to your cellar and bring that special bottle to Melograno. Chef Alberto will cook in honor of your wine! On Wine Collector’s night there will be no corkage fee.


Valet parking available on Hudson (rear of building) with validation for $6.00.

Celebrate Ferragosto at Melograno Restaurant in Hollywood

A major summer event, "Ferragosto" is celebrated in all of Italy on August 15th. It marks the peak of summer when everybody is on vacation whether by the beach, mountain destinations or parks. It is a very ancient pagan holiday that dates back to Roman Emperor Augustus’ time, when he decided that for one day everybody would stop work (Feriae Augusti-Ferragosto), including animals, to celebrate the end of major agricultural season.

Special Mother's Day Menu at Melograno

The Culinary theme for Melograno is derived from Chef Alberto Lazzarino’s region of Piedmont. In the world of Italian food, the most sophisticated and flavorful cuisine comes from Northern Italy. Piedmont's direct proximity to France throughout the centuries lent an elaborate approach to its cuisine accented by truffles and complimented by the wines of the region.
