On Thursday evenings Melograno will feature “Wine Collector’s Night,” an event dedicated to everyone who has been saving "that special bottle" for the right moment.

Each week focuses on a specific grape varietal or wine region and Chef Alberto will create specials which pair perfectly with the “Theme.” So, run to your cellar and bring that special bottle to Melograno. A major summer event, "Ferragosto" is celebrated in all of Italy on August 15^th. It marks the peak of summer when everybody is on vacation whether by the beach, mountain destinations or parks. It is a very ancient pagan holiday that dates back to Roman Emperor Augustus’ time, when he decided that for one day everybody would stop work (Feriae Augusti-Ferragosto), including animals, to celebrate the end of major agricultural season.
